IDTA Graded Training
Our ballet classes follow the internationally recognised IDTA syllabus. Students have the opportunity to progress through graded ballet examinations, developing strong ballet technique, musicality and coordination as well as confidence and discipline.

What should my child wear?
We have a set ballet uniform, our school leotard, ballet tights, ballet shoes and school cardigan. New starters should wear clothes they can comfortably move in.
What age can we start?
Our Carterton ballet classes on a Thursday are suitable for ages 4 and over. We welcome complete beginners as well as dancers with previous experience. If you are looking to start your child's dance journey before age 4 we also offer classes from 18 months on a Monday and Wednesday.

Our Ballet classes in Carterton are on a Thursday at St Joseph's Church. Classes for younger ages also available on a Monday at The Family Centre.
