Our Story
Poised Performing Arts grew out of a love for dance and performance. At PPA we aim to develop your child's confidence as well as dance and perfomance skills. We believe dance should be an enjoyable form of exercise that creates good posture, disclipine and great friends. Our vocational classes encourage children to enjoy movement through a friendly, fun, challenging atmosphere.
Katy Phillips, Principal,
Katy grew up in West Oxfordshire, her love of dance grew as a child and she went on to further her training at The University of Northampton. Having achieved her BA Hons in Dance and Drama Katy went onto further training at the London School of Musical Theatre and the Oxford School of Drama. Katy holds an Associate, Licentiate and Fellowship in Ballet, all at distinction, from the IDTA. Katy currently teaches at various dance schools, Primary schools and nurseries around Oxfordshire along side PPA.
